Astronea is a Mumbai-based interior design brand specialising in Italian wardrobe concepts. Their product range spans modular wardrobes, partition doors, wall panelling, premium doors, shower enclosures, and walk-in units, for both residential and commercial spaces. The brand’s approach sits at the intersection of design intent and functional engineering.
A significant part of their offering comes through collaborations with international hardware brands. Porta Pivot, a Belgian brand, supplies architectural pivot door systems built around precision movement and architectural scale. Terno Scorrevoli, an Italian brand with 70 years in the sliding door mechanism space, provides its fluid damper systems, which are designed for smooth, controlled operation over long-term use. Effegibrevetti contributes concealed hinges and cabinet fittings, hardware that works quietly in the background but has a direct impact on how a piece functions and holds up over time. These partnerships give Astronea access to hardware that directly affects the precision and finish of their installations.
The brand works closely with designers, architects, and homeowners, configuring spaces around individual briefs rather than fixed catalogue options. The starting point is always the client’s vision, and the product range is wide enough to accommodate varied aesthetic directions without compromising on build quality.
At Design POV ’26, Astronea will be displaying their work in context, giving architects and designers a direct look at how their systems sit within a designed space and how the international hardware partnerships translate into the final product.
