“TRANAKAVYA — Where Silence Finds Form. Rooted in the Sanskrit fusion of Trana (shelter) and Kavya (poetry), Tranakavya is imagined as a sanctuary of emotion — where architecture dissolves into the atmosphere. There are no sharp edges, no loud statements — only whispers of curves, shadows that holds memory, and a stillness that feels almost ancestral.”

“Step into a realm where time folds in on itself — the VIP Lounge for Design PoV is not just a space, but an immersive prophecy… Our design imagines a future sculpted by the past, a sanctuary that gleams with possibility while whispering echoes of heritage. Bathed in liquid chrome, the lounge wraps its visitors in a reflective metallic embrace — a fluid, futuristic cocoon that captures and mirrors the people who walk through it.”

Ameet Mirpuri

“Our entertainment living lounge draws inspiration from the exquisite tortoise shell boxes once handcrafted in Visakhapatnam until the 1970s. The space is not just a tribute—it is a living memory. A contemporary homage to a lost craft, it reinterprets the visual language and emotional resonance of those heirloom boxes, while aligning with today’s awareness and commitment to wildlife Conservation.”

Gayathri and Namith Architects

“Our goal was to design a space that evolves with the user — a dynamic experience rooted in the philosophy ‘adaptive work space’. With furniture designed taking inspiration from the cultures of the south. We aimed to create a booth where innovation meets organic sensibility. We explored this by crafting a setting that shifts your sense of place — a blend of forest and dreamlike escape, where work and relaxation coexist.”

“Design Dialects is a new initiative at Design POV that spotlights one region at a time. For the first edition, we begin with MADRAS. Growing up here, I was deeply enamoured by the city’s architecture and culture. It’s where my understanding of space, material, and craft first took shape. The busy mosaic, lime plastered walls, and art deco details of the homes I knew as a child still inform my aesthetic today. “

“The Act of Unwinding

‘Unwinding’ reframes relaxation into four embodied acts—shedding/settling, social re-engagement, absorbing indulgences, and mindful letting go. This exhibit spatializes each act through calibrated materials, light, sound, scent, and tactile rituals, guiding visitors intuitively along a journey from daily tension to communal warmth, focused immersion, and ultimate release.”

Purple Backyard

“..A Mad Hatter’s party reimagined, where the rules of time and space blur, where the unexpected sits gracefully beside the intentional. A surrealist dance between the minimal and the Maximal…”

The BNK Group

“Our design for the futuristic luxury hotel lobby, titled ‘Blurring Boundaries,’ is an ode to seamless living—a monolithic landscape sculpted from simplicity, elegance, and intent…by day, it is a calm coworking haven, a lobby that whispers productivity. By night, it hums with energy, evolving into a lounge where ideas turn into conversations.”

Quirk studio

“Quirk Brewhaus is our interpretation of a café rooted in timeless elegance and classic charm. The architectural shell of the space nods to the grace of the past, while contemporary furniture and thoughtful detailing adds a fresh, modern edge.”

RED Architects

“BEYOND BOUNDARIES: No walls, no rules — only a call to rethink what a home truly can be. For decades, homes were segmented… But today,…multi-functionality is no longer a compromise — it’s a deliberate choice. Spaces now flow with the rhythms of modern life, transforming the fixed into something fluid and open.”

“Luxe Soirée is a captivating space where refined design meets spirited energy. With its seamless blend of elegance and vibrancy, it invites guests to indulge in an atmosphere that’s both chic and effortlessly welcoming.”

Sona Reddy Studio

“This new-age hotel lobby is envisioned as a versatile liminal space for travellers and passers-by alike. The sleek design of the central tea bar creates a setting for connection and refreshment. An amphitheatre, art wall, and library offer opportunities to encounter new ideas. The space is unified by two sensory Zen gardens, bringing moments of calm and grounding to the experience.”

“Woven Air is a boutique hotel suite imagined for the conscious traveller of tomorrow—one who seeks immersion, intention, and a sense of place… In this iteration, the suite draws from the weaves of Bengal—Jamdani, Kantha, Batik, Gamucha, and Khadi—reinterpreted through contemporary surfaces, muted textures, and layered form. Indigo anchors the palette, evoking stillness, memory, and movement—threads that echo into Tomorrow.”

“The Entrance Foyer – Shifting Perspective The entrance is not just a threshold—it’s an awakening, a prelude to the journey ahead – A space where convention recedes and the unexpected begins. The foyer is imagined as a portal of transformation, where the familiar is reinterpreted with quiet impact. Curated elements act as cues, guiding you into a more layered experience. In this transitional space, the familiar is recontextualized, encouraging a deeper engagement with what lies ahead—with curiosity and wonder.”

“A walk in the garden, yellow tulips and purple blooms, I set foot into my garden and saw the birds in all their plumes. The soft sandy sunlight pathway. Leads you into a space where your worries ebb away…Dream of wisterias and get lost in the laughter…Come into my garden …a walk , a pause, a dream and some hope.”

“Round Robin is an immersive sanctuary born through an interactive, back-and-forth design process. An awe-inspiring, future-forward design is possible if we are willing to engage in a relentless pursuit of ‘what if?’ It allows us to go beyond the norm and demand more from the defined realm of possibilities. The result is a captivating haven, a positively overwhelming experience, an awakening—if you will—of the hidden senses.”

Talati and Partners

“Step into a cinematic sanctuary where epochs collide. This bespoke home theatre, a testament to audacious design, seamlessly blends cutting-edge 21st-century technology with the primal allure of the Stone Age. Embedded within these prehistoric aesthetics, ultra-short throw projectors beam breathtaking 8K visuals onto a colossal screen, while a discreetly integrated Dolby Atmos system delivers unparalleled immersive audio.”
